- Pick a number tile, tap an empty cell to place it.
- Every horizontal and vertical line must read as a true equation, left to right and top to bottom.
- Operations are evaluated in order, without precedence, exactly as written.

Do I need to know the order of operations?
No. Equations are evaluated strictly left to right, as the game explains in level 1. There is never a hidden rule.
Can a puzzle have two answers?
No. Every puzzle is checked by a solver to have exactly one solution.
What are the tiers?
Easy (+ −), Medium (+ − ×), Hard (all operators, bigger grids) and Expert (long equations). Practice lets you pick.
Why did my number bounce back?
Auto-check is on: wrong placements are rejected. Turn it off in Settings for a purer challenge and earn more coins.
Is Equatra suitable for kids?
The math is school level; the game is rated 13+ because of ads. A parent can remove ads with a one-time purchase.
