Fair play in Durak
Players of online card games have one question above all: is the deal rigged? Here is exactly how our Durak works, so that you do not have to take our word for it.
1. How the deck is shuffled
- Every match starts from a random seed — a 32-bit number produced by the server’s cryptographic random generator.
- The seed drives a published, deterministic shuffle (xoshiro128** with a Fisher–Yates shuffle). The same seed always produces the same deck order; nothing else influences it — not your coin balance, not your win streak, not whether you bought anything.
- The seed is stored with the match. When the match ends, it is shown in the match details, together with the full list of moves. Anyone can replay the match from the seed and moves and get byte-for-byte the same game; the open-source rules engine used by the app and the server is the same code.
- We run a distribution test on the shuffle for every release (chi-square on card positions and trump-suit frequency over 100,000 deals) and publish the result in the app’s “About” screen.
2. Bots
- Bots fill seats when there are not enough humans online, so you never wait more than a few seconds.
- Bots are always labelled “AI” on the table. We never pretend a bot is a person.
- Bots see only their own hand and the public table, through the same view the client gets — they cannot peek at the stock or at your cards.
- Bots do not earn coins for us; their stakes are not real, and the rake on a table with bots is the same as on a table without them.
3. Collusion and multiple accounts
- Public tables seat players from different devices and networks; two accounts from the same device cannot sit at the same public table.
- We monitor coin flows between accounts (repeated losses to the same opponent, chip dumping) and ban both sides when we find it.
- You can report a player from the table or match details. Reports are reviewed by a human.
4. Disconnects
- If you lose connection, you have 45 seconds to come back; your seat is held and the game continues where it stopped.
- If you do not return, the engine plays the safest legal move for you (take or pass). This is the same for everyone, including when your opponent disconnects.
5. What we do not do
- No “luck boost” for new players or payers.
- No card selling: you cannot buy cards, peeks, undo or anything that changes the game at the table. Coins are only stakes and cosmetics.
- No hidden odds. All rules you play by are shown before you sit down (deck size, passing variant, draw rule, first-bout limit).
6. Questions and bugs
Found something that looks unfair? Send the match ID (shown in match details) to [email protected]. We look at every report.
